Parent Forum

At St Michael's Catholic Primary School and Nursery, we value the views of our parents and carers. The Parent Forum is a partnership between parents and the school, providing a valuable opportunity to share ideas, express views and contribute to the continued development of our school community.

“As always, it was such a pleasure to be invited into the school for the Celebration assembly, and to see the children being recognised and celebrated, not only for their academic progress but also for their growth in all areas of their education. Aims of the Parent Forum

The Parent Forum aims to:

Work collaboratively to enhance the education and experiences we provide for all children.
Share information, knowledge and skills that benefit our school community.
Provide a positive and supportive environment where ideas can be discussed and developed.
Strengthen communication between parents and carers, staff and governors.

Who Can Attend?

Any parent or carer of a child attending St Michael's Catholic Primary School and Nursery is warmly invited to attend.

The Forum is chaired by Mrs Nicola Collins. Other members of staff, governors or members of the wider school community may also attend when relevant to the agenda.

Meet and work alongside other parents and carers.
Share your views on what the school is doing well.
Suggest ideas for future developments and improvements.
Contribute to positive changes that support all children.

Your voice matters, and the Parent Forum is an excellent way to help shape the future of our school.

What Will Be Discussed?

Parent Forum meetings focus on whole-school matters, including school improvement, communication, parental engagement and school life.

Please note that concerns relating to individual children, families or members of staff will not be discussed within the Parent Forum. These matters should be raised directly with the class teacher, Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher through the usual school procedures.
