Our remote education provision
At St Michael Catholic Primary and Nursery School, we are committed to ensuring that all pupils can continue their learning when attendance at school is not possible. Remote learning is delivered primarily through Microsoft Teams, where pupils can access learning activities, resources, live lessons and communication from their teachers.
Remote learning may include:
- Microsoft Teams live lessons and learning activities
- Teacher-produced resources and recorded explanations
- White Rose Maths
- Oak National Academy
- BBC Bitesize
- Purple Mash
- Reading materials and curriculum resources
- Printed learning packs where required
Pupils should log in to Microsoft Teams using their school account details provided by the school. Parents and carers who experience difficulties accessing remote learning should contact the school so that support can be provided.
This provision helps pupils remain connected to their learning and school community whenever learning takes place remotely.
