A Warm Welcome from the Nursery
I’m so delighted to have you and your child join our nursery family. Each day is a new adventure here — full of play, discovery, and laughter. It’s such a joy to watch our little ones grow in confidence, make new friends, and explore the world around them.
At St Michael’s, we believe every child is special and loved, and we work hard to make sure they feel safe, happy, and valued every single day. I’m really looking forward to sharing this exciting journey with you and your child.

All About Us
At St Michael Catholic School and Nursery, we nurture a lifelong love of learning in a caring, faith-filled environment. In Nursery, children explore both our indoor and outdoor areas, discovering the world around them with curiosity and joy.
Our activities include messy play, water play, construction, small world play (animals and people), real-life play (shops, doctors, vets), role play, creative play, and investigative play. Children use all of their senses to explore, learn, and make meaningful connections.
We encourage lots of talking and listening, helping children develop strong communication skills through play and interaction. We follow each child’s interests and provide an environment that is engaging, challenging, and full of joy, reflecting our Catholic values of respect, kindness, and community.
At St Michael’s, every child is valued, nurtured, and inspired to grow in confidence, curiosity, and faith.
