8th November 2019 Newsletter
We have had a very busy week as I am sure you can imagine with our ofsted visit on Tuesday and Wednesday. I can not release the result yet as the final report has not been written but suffice to say everyone worked really hard as a team and the children as always were stars!!.
Next Monday 11th November is Remembrance Day and we will be having an assembly based on Remembrance for those of us with loved ones who have died and for the soldiers who have died in the wars and conflicts around the world . We will be observing a minutes silence at 11am.
It is also National anti bullying week next week and we will be carrying out activities regarding bullying and what to do if we are bullied or see someone who is. To emphasise the fact that we are all individuals we are asking all of the children to come to school in odd socks! Odd sock day will be this Tuesday coming 12th November– no money to be paid just wear individual socks!!
Friday 15th November is Children In Need day and we are asking the children to come to school in something spotty. As this is for charity on this dress up day, we are asking for a donation for this very worthy cause!!
Even though we booked nice and early for this years pantomime as we always do– unfortunately they didn’t have enough seats at the theatre to accommodate us but not to worry, the pantomime will come to us—A theatre company will be performing ”Cinderella” in the hall on the morning of 5th December to all children. “Oh yes it will…”
Have a lovely weekend
